I came to AROSSA 2 years after it opened. It opened as ROCKS 125, and I had heard about it from Costumers, staff and magazine reviews.
I was traveling for 7 years to many places. I've moved 25 times in my life.
It was AROSSA that clipped my wings and brought me to earth.
At the beginning of this year, I became the CEO in addition to being the Chef.
In my time at AROSSA, I've seen both positive and negative aspects of the restaurant. As CEO, I am focused on accentuating the positive and introducing new enhancements of our dining experience.
I've assembled the best staff and always seek to see things though the eyes of our customers.
I have done my best and hope to see you soon.

My food is in a modern Australian style.
Australia is a wonderful country because people from many cultures have created a society without boundaries.
My vegetables come from Mr. Asano's farm.
Mr.Asano, 70 years old, still rides a 750 cc motorcycle .He is amazing....
Our fish comes fresh from HAGI, Japan 2 to 3 times a week.
Our cheese comes from EURO ,`,q,s, who is without a doubt, the best cheesemaker in Japan.
I often go visit EURO ,`R,s to check the quality of the cheese and seek his advice.
I always have 15 to 20 varieties of cheese available.
Our oysters are from Tasmania. Though small they will surprise you with incredible flavor. It is not about size with oystersÉ it is hard to explain.....
Chicken from Miyagi-ken, Goose from Japan, Fowl from France and the UK. Salt, Beef, Lamb, Kangaroo and Crocodile are from Australia.
Pork from Okinawa and France.
Without boundaries, knowledge, technique and sense can create a wonderful menu.
It is difficult to create such food, but in this way our food becomes appropriate for each wine. And although difficult, achieving this conjunction of wine and food is truly exhilarating for both our customers and myself.

In traditional wine making countries, vintners follow very rigid procedures and processes. By contrast, Australia's wine makers have been free to experiment and try many different ideas. As a result Australian wines often surprise you with interesting and wonderful differences or nuances of flavor and taste.
Australia's history of accepting immigrants from all over the world and its "boundary less" society are also reflected in its wines. Vintners living next to each other may take completely different approaches and thus Australian wines are uniquely varied.
Arrosa has 300 Australian and 30 New Zealander wines as well as several other countries' wines. I don't know if this is enough but I have tried to provide as wide a variety as possible and serve each wine by the glass to allow my customers to sample many wines.
